Can't say much (read: anything) regarding the 1950, but I've owned a DSn 177 that I bought from a member here for some months and it's an AWESOME watch!!! The genuine ETA was the most exact movement I've EVER had in ANY watch! I think it was 2-3 seconds per MONTH, so...
Ok: Lume is pretty good right out of the box. It is not as bright as on the original (compared the watch to several gens), but it is not as big a difference, as some people claim neither. It needs a little modding, granted, but I rather see this necessary in the CG and CG pin (my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt). Now, the casing is not 100% identical to the gen... the degree of taper of the ring around the crystal (for the lack of better words) differs and so do the "arms" that hold the spring bars for the strap (sorry - Englisch isn't my mother tongue). When compared 1:1 it's rather obvious, but nontheless I sold my to a collector of gen. Pams, as these small difference "actually make it look better than the real deal" (his words).
I've really come to love the sandwich dial and the tobacco coler as well as the beautifull movement, but I liked the watch "as is" and not due to being as close to the gen as humanly possible. In that case you might rather go with a 111 or alike...

Marc
