i'm curious. i've dealt wuth dsn, eddie and andrew but I keep hearing jimmy fu's name mentioned in connection with top quality parts.
can anyone tell me who he is and what he does?

He's a watch enthusiast that *used* to sell aftermarket Panerai cases, bezels, case backs and crown guards that were built using his gen (D series?) Panerai Luminor parts as templates. They were the most accurate parts available, when they were still available. He no longer makes these parts and they were all bought up long ago.

jimmy fu is who, that is so true, a guy that no one realy new, who caught a flu, found himself in a loo among all the goo... :roll:

Sadly, gone with the wind, and disapeared from Pam rep fora ...avid Seiko and Citizen collector, you'll still find him @SCWF and PMWF forums from time to time.

His name will always be remembered here and other Panerai rep forums as of someone related to the high quality replica business, just like Honpo, Eddie Lee (in his good days) and some notable others in the times gone...I won't be surprised if my 4 year old son asks me in 10 or so years, - hey dad, is that a Jimmy Fu case on your wrist :lol:

None will have current parts for your newer model 312.

Jimmy Z Fu is a Panerai collector. You can find some photos of this guy searching on Paneristi, maybe in GTG area. He's one of the owners of the (in)famous Pam 195.

Six or seven years ago Jimmy Fu made a hundred of caseset (sapphire crystal + bezel + middle case + crown round tube + crownguard + sterile caseback. NO crown!) based on her OP 6520 caseset. Very accurate and great quality. Sold on ebay, the prices was very cheap.
