Who has the best Pam 127 dial?

I believe the Fiddy font experts like babola and BBB have said that DSN's is the closest out there right now. It's perhaps a bit too dark on the beige coloring, but it was the consensus that it was less noticeable than bright white letters.

As Hooligan said...and I'd just add - DSN as well as other dealers of recent version of "ultimate" Fiddy.

The dial is the latest iteration of the Fiddy dial, it's made by one factory and all the recent Fiddy's come with it - its dial txt is slightly darker in color (beige/light brown) than it should really be, and is more charcoal, or dark gray matte in finish. Genuine Fiddy dial is jet black, and the dial txt print is off-white or cream in color.

If you're lucky, DSN should still have old-version Fiddy dial or two available, this one was black and it had better (read lighter) dial print. I owned both of his 'ultimate' Fiddys (kept the last one, though) so you can trust me on this

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm wondering everyone's opinion, with Davidsen out of stock on movements for the 127 until this summer, what's the best out-of-the-box fiddy out there right now? I've heard angus mentioned before, but I'd love to hear some opinions...

I got mine from Angus.

Replaced the DSN dial with it. It's much better.

I've got Angus and it is very good. Besides, with all the talk about quality issues with Davidsen, I would explore all dealer options.

i can only say one thing :
i paid $ 360 for my DVSN 127. the by far ! best- non exploding crystal, great lume, tight CG, dial flawless. it was perfect.

if you think i exaggerate.....ask Cybee.
