I bought one of the DSN SLOB watches and I absolutely love it! However, when I recieved it, there were three cracks in the plexi. I emailed DSN about it and he said that he had shipped them with an extra crystal because plexi scratches so easy. I went through the packaging again and found the extra crystal but I don't have the tools or the know how to replace it.

Can anyone point me to someone here in the forums that can do this?

Or maybe I should leave it as is and rough up the case a little? After all, it is a vintage watch:D

It is in the crystal, not on the surface.

I think I can see the same thing when I look at the pics that Grimlock had of the "pre-production" SLOB. Anyone else had the same issue?

I think you should remove the movement from behind.

That's not so difficult.

But I don't know if the plexi is glued or if you can remove it with some pressure from inside.

Another suggestion: try it with a sucker (hope it's the correct word). I have two VP's where the plexis are only hold from a seal and are to remove in this way quite easily.

If you are not experienced, dont do it, go to a watchsmith. Swap the crystal is easy and fast to do.

I agree, a watchsmith should have no problem replacing it.
