White lettered VS Red lettered SMP

I own a gen white lettered Blue dial Blue bezel SMP.

I just noticed in the last few days that the one shown on the Omega site has the word Seamaster in red. Mine is in white.

Any Omega expert could explain?

Handled it on an AD last saturday... and I got a buddy who has an older gen; our rep is spot on Heck it fooled my buddy: "Hey you finally got my watch"
