I purchased this omega po last week but the seller didnt know which version it is. It has the asian movement inside ticking @28000 beats and also has the happy feet on the dial but thats all i know. Could it possibly be the v4? Any help is appriciated. Thanks

If it has happy feet then it probably is not a real UPO. I have a V4 and the markers are kind of dull. That is why I'm looking for a UPO rep dial.

happy feet ? UPO
happy feet = varied measurements and no guarantee of interchangeability with gen. parts

UPO = 45.5mm (only one version afaik)
V4 = 42mm, totally different.

So, as drabbits said, that's just a plain average, pre UPO 45.5 mm PO. Probably won't take many, if any, gen parts.

as KBH said UPO = 45.5mm.

This must be the version that was released along with the V4.

Happy feet is the biggest clue.

So is there a way to check and see if it can take gen dial and hands

Does it make any difference if it has a serial number on the back of the watch.

Look at the difference in the Omega symbol on the dial. The first one with the feet turned up is considered the "happy feet".

The SN# and date window prove that this is a UPO(45.5). I don't remember if they fixed the happy feet on the most recent ones sold.

+1 That a lot of members are confused wether a Ultimate PO is 42mm or 45.5mm. The dealers sometime use "Ultimate" on the 42mm in their descriptions. But we try to stick to common definitions/identifiers to help clarify which actual model we are discussing.

Thanks guys, as long as the gen dial and hands along with the crown and tube fit I'm gonna be a happy man
