Ok, opinions please. Which to buy?
Pam 359
Pam 329L
Pam 328

I need and auto, I like the display back even though it is a tell. I like the idea of the SS bracelet to mix it up due to all my others having rubber or leather. What are your thoughts, please share and pics too. Help

I've had my eyes on the 329L. Polished case. and brighter lume than the 359M (which would be my first choice but i prefer the brighter lume) Although, from what I understand, the lume on the 359M is sorta like the gen.

As you can tell, I'm torn between the two myself.. flip a coin!

Go with the 328. No GMT hand or a bunch of extra numbers. 328 is as classic as the new ones can be.

Why extra numbers? The only difference is the hand and the lack of Marina on the dial which is replaced with GMT. Is there something I'm missing? Are the date wheels sunken the same depth on all the models. I would imagine so with the use of the 7750 not 7753

I like it too but I already have a sub that I like. Besides the 7753 version costs a heap. I've only seen it for sale at trusty too.

I just got a 312 which is the 328 without the stainless strap. I got it with a deployant rubber and will be getting the SS one asap. This watch is stunning. I had an H factory 318/005 before and this lume is very close to it also.

Or, a dark horse will be the 351 when it debuts.

Extra numbers? Well the other 2 don't have a 1,2,4,5,7,8,10, and 11 on the dial.......those extra numbers.

I like the clean look similar to the 111.

They are standard 7750 I believe, but they are very close to gen depth from the pictures I've seen.

I mean, if I put a Breitling Super Avenger on a leather strap it doesn't become a Breitling King Edward Small Date Deluxe, does it??
I like Panerai watches, but their model marketing strategy seems to be aimed at idiots with money: "No -it's NOT the same watch I was wearing yesterday! True they both have the exact same case, dial, crown guard and hands, but the one I wore yesterday was made in 2008 and had a greenish-blue lume while this one was made in 2009 and has a bluish-green lume. And this one is a limited edition - only 12,900 world-wide!"

Frigpig....I thought you were speaking of the 328/329 having extra numbers. Anyway I pulled the hook on a 359. Got a good deal on it. I also agree with the ridiculous number designations.

This 329 is probably the best PAM GMT rep available today.

I think we have to be careful with the hype when a model is "updated"...

Everybody complained about the crown space issue on the superb 005K, 318L and also with the 177L....

Then they released the new 177M with corrected crown space but now the CG of the new models (177, 176 , 111 , 112..) is not as good as the first 005K and 318L...

So no one can guarantee that the "new" 359 will be better than the one they are selling now, wich is a super rep.
