116610LN vs 126610LN

I'm mostly asking users that own both.

From what I've read the lug-to-lug distance is the same between the two and diameters differ by less than 1mm due to rounding errors.

I prefer the 126610, but it doesn’t mean the 116610 isn’t good either. It’s not like Rolex have been making a sub wrong for 60 years.

I, too, prefer the 126610, but the previous reference is also good.

My advice, try one of each on and see which you prefer. It's your wrist.

They’re both different and fit great. I have a small wrist and was worried about this exactly. The 126 is more even or balanced and the 114 looks a bit more chunky and top heavy. I actually like them both for what they are.

I agree with the above, but only after wearing both the 116610 and the 126610. I have a very top heavy gen, a Breitling Seawolf II on bracelet, so I know top heavy...

The 116610 is much less top heavy than the Breitling. But only after wearing the 126610 do you realize the difference you feel on the top of your wrist with the 116610. The extra millimeter on the bracelet with the thinner lugs really does make a difference. The watch heads themselves are only about 0.5mm in difference, but the wider bracelet makes all the difference in stabilizing the watch head on top of your wrist. If I were you, I'd go with the 126610.

Thank you guys! That helped me make my mind up, especially since the 41mm sub has a longer power reserve. :)

Think I’m the only one that thinks a PR in excess of say 24hrs is Irrelevant. Makes no difference to me that my watch can tick over for 3 days when I’ve left her alone in a dark drawer

Correct. If we want PR we'll buy a quartz. PR hardly matters when you are rotating a collection and it hardly matters if you are a one watch guy. So when does it matter?

I switch between a couple of my watches within 48 hours pretty regularly. I find it very convenient not having to wind and adjust time/date when I do.

I have watches that I prefer for the office and others I prefer on the weekends. With the 126610 or VSF DJ41, I can take it off on Friday after work and it's still running on Monday morning. Or if I just decide to wear another watch for one or two days in between.

I was being a bit arrogant, it's a great feature, some will find it more useful than others.

Ya I think it is too, less top heavy, more balanced.
