Which sub, 194 or 305?

Which way to jump? Pam194 or Pam305? I have the 243M already and want to grow my sub collection. I have read ALE's Pam review and threads on the 305. Just how bad is the lume and bezel on the 305? Is the case that much different than S/S on my 243, does it wear differently? The 187 @$430 is too much and maybe a bit fragile, that's why I am thinking 194. Your thoughts appreciated.

I have both the 187 and the 194. The new 187 is definitely a better watch in terms of quality build. I'm selling my 194 if you're interested. It is mint. I wore probably twice. Maybe thrice. I can't remember. I bought it a while back before the new 187 came out. PM me if you're interested.

PAM 194 no, of course !
Go to 305 or 187
Concerning date @10, no worries, just be careful when change of date, like in the gen, that's all.

If you want a big sub go for the 187G for sure! It's one of the best reps ever.

Thick crystal with great AR, a7753 movement , date change system as gen... etc etc... This is one of the best reps I've ever own.

But if it's too big for you then go for the 243L Noob factory. It's smaller than the 187 but as good as the 187G. Same maker, same quality.

Both are killer reps! You can't go wrong with any of them.


305 is a good rep but not same quality construction as 243L or 187G (from Noob Factory). Bezel and crystal on 305 are not that good... AR on crystal is very bad and lume is not the best lume you can find..
So you need to relume it and make AR to the crystal to get a nice rep. And even after that the 243L will still be a better rep with better construction, same as 187G...

The PAM 194 is a low grade rep, the PAM 305 is first class rep. No contest.

Ok, now its between the 305L and the 187G. I have a 243M, build quality is superb to say the least. Also have the 288K and 183H with mods(took your advice ALE, thank you) So, the choice is: clean and simple dial with a few flaws, but titanium case or SUBZILA.

So made the decission, 187 it is. but wait..187G out of stock, so to is 127E and 217 Destro. Gave up after that :-(

PAm 187 is IMO the best decison between 187 and 305

PAM 127 and 217 are Super reps too and beautiful

Of course the 194 is a very beautiful watch, maybe the Best looking PAM sub.
I'm talking about the watch as a replica. Leaving aside the flaws, you know it is made of SS instead of Titanium.
I cannot recommend such a REPLICA althought it is a GOOD and BEAUTIFUL WATCH.
