Which PAM should I go for first?

I've always liked these watches, my friend has a gen PAM 044 (I believe it's that one) and it looks killer.

I am looking for a more subtle one, preferably with a leather strap and I do like the ones with the covered crown (not sure of the technical name for that)

I am looking for one about 42mm in case diameter.

Your suggestions, please! Thanks!

Hey, first of all welcome to the Pam-addictives! As far as I know, the are three types of sizes:
40mm
44 (45 for radiomir) mm
47mm

If I were you I'd go for a nice 111h, can't go wrong with that:

Yikes.. this might be one for the flame-free zone with you putting "42mm" case in there... :shock:

The closest you will get to that is either 40mm or 44mm. As far as subtle goes? I was going to say black seal, but you want one with the crown guard/lock, so I'd go for something like the 000, 005, 111 or if you want white, 113. Those are the most "subtle" IMO in terms of chronos, bezel, hands, size, etc.

I said 42mm because I basically want a 40mm or 44mm, definitely not a 47mm. And I have seen the 42mm radiomir and I do like it!

The 111h is looking like a winner. That's pretty attractive.

May I suggest a 113. It looks great and is about as basic a pam as you can get. I'd stick with an asian one to see if you like it then go from there.

My first pam was the 253. Love the hunbail. Big watch though.

Start with the 111H. Never buy anything smaller than a 44mm. I regretted buying a PAM 048 since its a gen.

177h is awesome...

anything with an sandwich dial is awesome...
