Which one should I get to go with the 590? 360 or 390

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and so far I've been learning and trying to absorb the massive amount of information available here.

I own a gen 590, while I love the watch I find myself itching for another Pam to complement the 590 and can't justify spending the money on another gen. I am a bit of a purist, so I ruled out all the clear back ones and currently eyeing the 360 or 390.

Here is my dilemma: the 390 is a super-rep and I really like everything about it (base, gold hands, not a common model so less chance of me running into someone with a gen) but I feel it's too similar to my 590 (sausage dial, ecru lume). The 360 is different enough and I like the black/gray case, but it's more flawed, and like I said I'm a bit of a purist.

What would you get if you are in my position? Other suggestions are also appreciated, maybe there's a super rep dlc watch out there I'm not aware of?

PAM 360 is not at the level you want
Maybe you should go to another type of PAM like a GMT, Chrono or Sub

A good option very different of yours could be a GMT like PAM 088, a chrono like PAM 224 H maker or a sub like PAM 243

You could also take a look at the Noob 026K also dlced and its a destro.

+1 on 026 or you may look into 000/005 from H factory since you are purist and they won't be so similar to 590 as 390. Another option if you want something in super rep range and a bit different would be 380.

Indeed the PAM 243, super rep w/closed back, HFAC with incredible cost:value...is absolutely stunning, quissentential PAM..worth a serious look

If you like the look of 026, you should look no further. Just get Noob version and enjoy it!

Update: after looking around I ordered a 026 noob, a bit nervous to see the quality. The same seller also carries 243 and 390, if I like the 026 I think I'm gonna itch after those two eventually. This rep thing is really a slippery slope. Thanks for the help guys!

I know, I'm already looking up and salivating over pictures of the 243 before my 026 is even shipped. The only thing stopping me right now is my wife's potential wrath.

Today my wife asked me to buy her a shorter strap so she can wear my 590. She never asked to wear my Omega. I think she's feeling the Panerai hook as well. This could be my excuse to her for my incoming rep(s): Honey, I only bought the rep(s) because you have my gen.

I've got the KW 360 and like it a lot. Also have the 026 which looks fantastic on an olive or army green strap. I know ALE isn't a 360 fan but IMO you can't go wrong with any of these really. I think the KW colour is pretty close and the slightly bigger CP doesn't bother me like I thought it would.

Thanks for the info Norris. My 026 is on the way, and yes I like the 360 as well and I think I'll get one eventually, but hope the 026 can keep me entertained long enough to hold out for the super-rep.

Apparently from what I read here the current versions have been out for some time but no one bothered to improve on them. I don't really understand the logic behind it as it is a base with a closed back, should be fairly easy to get it right, and considering it is a very sought after piece, a super rep would probably sell like hot cakes.
