Gentlemen - and others of you,

Again, as a newbie here, I've been going through the available colors of my initial preferred device; the 40mm VSF Submariner with VS3135, and wanting to vary a bit for the upcoming next item.
However, I'm stuck in the "Don't know what I Don't Know" quadrant and seeking some advice from you similar-minded fine fellows - and the rest of you, if so inclined.

I am trying to choose between the following:
1) VSF Yacht Master 126622 40mm with VS3235, SS with blue dial, oyster bracelet (elegant combination), and
2) Clean GMT Master II 126710 40mm with DD3285, BLRO Blue/Red Ceramic, Jubilee bracelet.
My unknowns and perceived attributes with each are as follows and seeking clarification/advice (admittedly with less words):

Item 1) Yacht Master
1A) This watch is beautiful, but first impression before coming back to it was, "a little too "fluffy"" for me(?). I mean - it's beautiful, but - is it like a pretty boy that contemplates himself a lot and spends maybe too much time on his hair? Am I being too critical, here? I really like the watch. I'm just considering it'll show up and I'll be like; "what was I thinking"! Are these things part of the "Submariner Club" for normal dumbasses stumbling around in the woods, or do these mostly show up at the country club? Where do you usually find these, and is there a "type" of guy that has these? They are elegant, yes?
1B) I like the size, shape and 3235 movement, especially in the 40mm case. I really like the contrast between the SS and navy(ish) blue dial, red second hand and red letter line on the dial. I like everything about the mechanics, size and function of the watch.
1C) Does it represent something I'm probably not - fancy instead of less polished around the edges. I don't know anybody who wears one of these so I don't know where this watch belongs. It could belong in my house? Is this stupid to consider (the concept of not fitting my lifestyle) or stupid to consider (the concept of NOT having and enjoying this watch)?

Item 2) GMT Master II
2A) Again, everything about the size, look and style is right for my preference. I like the 32 series movement (though yet don't have one). I like having a jubilee bracelet in the mix. If it weren't for the following, the GMT would be perfect for me:
2B) I have no earthly need, nor desire, for the 4th hand. I don't really even know what to do with it. For my consideration, it looks nice, but represents the 5th leg of a bar stool for what I would ever do with it. And that leads to my primary (perceived) deficit for the watch, and where advice is sought, specifically:
2C) Is the additional complication of the 2nd hour hand just opening up another avenue for problems with the movement? My choices are really movement driven first, closely followed by the style and cosmetics, second. Other things equal, the movement becomes the primary consideration.
2D) Is the added complication of the 2nd hour hand a negative attribute for reliability, or is this a non issue with this DD3285 movement? Evrything else about the watch is spot-on for my purposes.

Item 3)
Is there something fitting the template described above not considered (this is possibley the least considered/favored option ?).

Thanks in advance for your consideration in offering thoughts on this. I'd like to get this over with. I don't do well with "needing resolution" interfering with completing a task. I have to "push the button" before floods, volcanoes, other pending business, and maybe Interpol (or unknown-to-me international police organizations) interrupt the process of satitating the desire for a new toy. Thx.
