Hello mates!
I'm going to ask a tech question to our experts :)
I'm into a "light franken" project and I'd like to know which movement can replace a Rolex 1570 (into a GEN case) and would fit a GEN Dial?
Is there an ETA or something else available that can match my needs?
No need to be a "clone" movement (it would be nice, but not really necessary) :)

Thanks to anyone willing to help!

ETA 2846 / 2836-2 + rafflesdial dwo (they are quite thin which makes them less likely to cling onto the dial when flipping dates) + rafflesdial dial spacer

That was fast! Thanks!
I'll be more specific, and I'll ask a little more if possible:
- The project will be a Rolex 1500 (gen case, gen dial, gen crown, gen plexy, gen hands). Since it is a 34mm case, do I need any "accomodation ring" for the new calibre (I see that they are described for larger cases, 36/40mm)
- Any actual difference between a 2846 or 2836-2 in a project like the one above?

Thanks a lot @pompompurin

The project will be a Rolex 1500 (gen case, gen dial, gen crown, gen plexy, gen hands).
Gen 15xx hands will not fit ETA 2836-2 nor 2846. You will have to modify the cannon pinion, hour wheel, and seconds wheel (or broach the seconds hand) in order to fit gen 15xx hands.

Alternatively, you can use aftermarket rafflesdial hands (normal post height ones)
Since it is a 34mm case, do I need any "accomodation ring" for the new calibre
Yes

2836-2 = 28,800 bph
2846 (discontinued) = 21,600bph

Since 1570 movement is lowbeat, 2846 is more desirable but the BPH is not very noticeable in real life.
