This seems to be the million dollar question for anyone who's looking to acquire a rep. Movements are very important and i still fail to understand which one is the best? I know of a few (Lemania, Swiss Eta 2824-2 Automatic movement, 28800bph, Swiss Sellita SW200, Japanese MIYOTA, and of course the a7750). So im wondering which movement is best for a chrono watch and which movement is best for a non chrono watch.

Personal opinions for reps:
in reps: handwound 6497, Asian ETA 2836-2, Swiss Sellita SW200
personal experience: the simplest/cheapest 21j may outrun all others, takes a beating, costs $35 replacement if it craps out and is probably the only one that may run for 10 Years+ without any care or service, contras may be low beat rate at 21.600, avoid heavy seconds hands, loud rotor (fixable)
Chrono watch: handwound ST-19, if You have a watchsmith who will service it: the A7750 with running seconds at 9 only, handled with care;
for reliability: Swiss Ronda quartz, for a non-ticking seconds: microstepper quartz like the VK-movement
