The 111 is pretty easy to replicate:

Thanks all. :D
I have a 111H (superlume too) which I think is pretty accurate, except for the L swiss made L that I think is too close to the 6. I just talking about the front BTW. A 63 which I also think is pretty accurate except for the date which is a total give away. But I love them anyway. Would post a pict once I know how. 89 is pretty good except the date and the skeleton hand is a bit too thin (My friend have the 88 and the looks noticeably fatter), forgot to look at the date. BTW is there anywhere we can get the correct date wheel fonts? Thanks Cheers

Legend... could you please tell me the flaw of the 111 rep? Thanks.

The shape of the "2" in 12 and the bright white color of the printing (from the front).

DSN's 2s are better, but 6s are worse. Such is life.

I think the 010D from DSN is one of the most accurate reps out there. Here is my modded 010D...

Not necessarily, Dave. While all the fixable bits will be top-shelf, vac can't fix the wrong shape "2" or the "L Swiss Made L" too close, etc.

I dunno, I'd bet one of the Submersibles might be the most accurate? Maybe one of the new "Ultimate" autos?

Have owned both the Arktos & 199 Regatta newer versions. Both are nice but really prefer the Regatta.
Great from the box, I see no reason to spend the extra to mod this one.

Simply put, any exhibition back PAM shouldn't even be in this thread... anyone who knows Panerai can tell the difference at a glance.... specifically, the font on the handwinds (bridge) and the autos (rotor) is off...

With the autos... out of the box, they're good but not great... I have a 2893-2 powered 063 which is about to go to ziggy along with a gen crown, lello datewheel, and the new pimpy chieftang cyclops.... it'll be very close...

Anyone wanting a close Panerai should either stick to closed caseback examples, or autos... but with the autos, buy a gen crown off ebay from the turkish seller (i own 5 of these now) and you'll be good to go...

Just remembered, I have a ziggy lume 188 with the lello datewheel and gen crown in hand for that one... it'll be fairly close after the mods....

Andrew told me his most accurate PAM rep was the PAM092 Arktos Ultimate. This isn't a commonly held Panerai rep imho, Can anyone who owns one verify?
