I've been waiting patiently for the Noob 127 to become available but looks like it might be a lost cause. I love the domed crystal/plexiglass look of the old fiddys. What can I purchase right now that is the most accurate rep? I looked at the 372, but not even sure which version to get because there are so many. Thanks in advance.

Can´t say nothing about accurate but that they look good, they do: 1950´s casing with domed crystal PAM 212 or 253 Flybacks (without flyback function as they are reps..)

These watches PAM 212 and 253, leaving aside the movement and Flyback functions are really good. Its PAM 1950 case is very especial and elegant, nicer than PAM 212 and PAM 359 IMO
PAM 212 and 253 are really nice and a very good option to be considered

In plexi type you have PAM 448, 449, 424 and even PAM 425

PAM 372 is nice but more inaccurate (all versions)

Thanks Ale. Always helpful. The 212 and 253 are a bit too "busy" for my taste. And the others you mention are a bit too "plain". I think I want a design with a CG. Seems like the 127 and 217 would have been the perfect watch for me but unavailable. argh.

Great, brief info on the 212/253 and other domed ones. Professional as ever. Thanks Ale as well:)

Also consider the 372, as well as the radiomirs mentioned by ALE, has a different crystal shape than the 127, 212, 253, 286 and 332 with 1950 case: the crystal has vertical walls inthe 372 instead of sloped sides.

127:

372:

Personally I think the 372 is one of the best looking recent PAMS, and I would go for it waiting for the fiddy to become available again.
Noob version is my favourite because of a slightly better dial, better CP, and lower price. I don't feel like paying a premium for a movement that's probably hard or impossible to fix in case it breaks, even if it seems to be reliable so far. :)

Agreed with kW. I would go Noob as the superclone has no parts right now if it breaks. I had mine stripped out and replaced with a swiss 6497 to get a workhorse in there. And the crystal has some very nice lines on the 372 IMO.

Which 47 mm is sapphire with only a slight done, where it doesn't protrude from the watch but isn't totally flat.

The only low domed PAMs that come to my mind are some vintage 3646, but they had plexi.
232 has a curved sapphire instead.
424 and 425 have sapphire with vertical walls, but not as high as 372 I would say.
All luminor 1950 stated in posts above share the same sapphire crystal shape as 127.
That's as far as I know :)
