I need some help from members who have any of these white face pam reps, or that have seen them in person.

Which out of the 3 is the best rep out there and from which dealer?

I know 2 are 44's and 1 is 40 as well as the manual and the auto movements on them.

This one is going to be for the wife and she really has no prefference to the size or date/no date, she basicly just wants one in white but without too many complications (translation: no daylights) she preffers the not-to-busy dials like me :D

Obviously since we already share a couple of watches from "our collection" (sadly no prenup  ) I would also like to use this white pam myself once in awhile, so im asking the community for their insight, as in my experience pictures do not necesarally tell the true story.

I have done some homework and a couple of years back when I bought my gen 27 at an AD we both tried the 049 and liked it although the simplicity of the 114 rocks IMO, sadly in both the 113 and 114 rep pictures that I have seen from some dealers websites, the black font on the dial just looks kinda faded or washed out, definetely not like the gen at least in the pictures; the black dial font on the 049 looks much better on the rep pictures but no dealer that I've seen takes a decent picture of the date window (and we all know how that can turn out) besides do the rep autos movement, like the 104 and 049, wooble like the gens when on your wirst or when shaken in hand???? I remember that from my gen 104 and I loved how it felt, it was akward at first but the it grew on me, almost as if the watch was just reminding me that it was still there, and my wife liked the wooble too (easy on the jokes please  )

Hopefully there are others in here who also enjoy the white dial pams and can lend me a hand.

Cheers

You will not find an auto PAM rep that whirrs and cranks like the gen. I have a few gen PAMs and can attest to this. It's the nature of the beast.

As far as the best and from which dealer..........that is the thrill of the hunt. Frankly, if you can afford a gen, you can afford a few reps which you will just have to write off as experience.

True, True, So true...

I guess you're right, so now I have to figure where to take the first plunge on the whitey, and here I was thinking you guys were going to make this easy for me

Thanks for the push, I guess I needed that.

Cheers

Here ya go, my man....... I've purchased 40mm and 44mm white dial PAMs for some friends from Joshua. They are both really sweet timepieces. Stay away from the 188 if you are looking for accuracy. The numerals aren't nearly dark enough.

Best of luck!!

I was set on Ruby's 113, but I think I am going to have to go the Davidsen route. His watches really are all that (I have a 005 and LOVE it!).

Thanks grinder but I'm not a fan of "busy" dials on a Panerai.

To me the attraction to pannys are all about the simplicity and clean dials.

The only pam crono I would maybe consider getting (and that's a big maybe too!) would be the cronozilla 1000M Sub, theres just something about that monster that just looks sooo bad ass, even though it is a busy dial (and bezel).
