Which is a better replica and choice for purchase, the 3777-01 (triple date window) or the 3777-09?

Which is a more accurate replica (assuming we're going with the newest ZF edition, which I understand to be the best available)

I saw on a thread a while back (https://forum.replica-watch.info/threads/super-rep-list-pic-heavy.362333/) that the 3777-01 was listed as a super rep, but nothing about the 3777-09

which is a better choice overall? I've heard that the triple date window is more forgiving to misaligned date wheels

Yes indeed it is a super rep. But I believe the date font is off. That really bugged me since the date font is bolded while the day font right beside it is not. You'll probably need a mod for it. Not sure about the 3777-09, didn't research about that piece. I'm pretty sure it's also a super rep tho, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I was also turned off by the loud rotor noise since the watch is pretty small, that A7750 rotor made the watch feel cheap and light as it spun around whenever I moved even a little and it really didn't feel premium to me unlike my Panerai, Hublot or AP which has a heft to it which I dig. So I sold mine away, it had the least wrist time of all my watches. I bought the IWC 3777-01 by ZF.

It's a great watch don't get me wrong, but it just wasn't for me.

Is it that the rotor had that typical 7750 "wobble"? Or did the rotor make a cheap clicking type sound? Is the watch itself light?

It has the typical wobble I believe, similar to my hublot which is also A7750. But the thing is my hublot has a lot more heft and I don't feel the rotor, since the IWC is pretty light, when the rotor swings you can sort of feel the weight shift and it kinda bugged me and made the watch feel cheap. But your mileage may vary on this one.

Yes Chrono works perfect. I never actually touched it though, it's recommended to leave chronograph function of an A7750 alone if you want longevity out of your watch.

Well I wouldn't really specifically recommend another rep over it, my favourite watch is the hublot though, but that's just because I'm a really big fan of the hublot design. If you like the design of the IWC, by all means go for it!

I'm just leaving my own experience due to my personal taste so you may very well love this watch. I feel for most watches you really need to have it in your hand before you can judge because seeing it in person and feeling it is really different.

I actually have a strap being made by him right now. I can't wait. I'll post pictures when it gets here!

The problem with the triple date is that it's a bold font but the day isn't. Barely noticeable.

As far as the rotor movement. I can't feel it unless I really try. It is a bit loud but again u kinda have to put it close to your ear.

The bold date font issue is not present in your model , only in the single date ones

It took 6 weeks to get mine lol.
But worth the wait.

I sent the attached pic to copy the strap.
He couldn't do rivets but he did a pretty good job òn the strap he made.
I wear the watch as my daily in a tough environment.
I will keep this thread updated on how the strap holds up.
