Hello, I'm still new for PAM. I have heard Noop factory seems to be the best one. Is this right? :) However, I'm now looking for PAM441 which some people said Noop never build this model but KR factory is the best one.
So, can you pls advice which factory is the best for PAM441? And is it now real ceramic? If anyone may have it, pls also share pictures. Thank you.

The Noop factory makes fine watches. So does the Veepee factory. Hard to say. You will have to do more reading and researching to decide which one you think is best !! I have been enjoying Reps ever since my yoot ! Oh, and a very pleasant and warm welcome from Los Angeles, California to you too !! Enjoy your stay !!

Welcome to the forums! the current "best" 441 would arguably be the latest offering from V6factory (some say it's actually kw or a subsidiary of kw) which comes in real ceramic.

here's the link: http://www.pure-time.com/product/pa...f-11-best-edition-on-brown-asso-strap-p9001a/

it was just released a few days ago. but in terms of movement accuracy since it's a display caseback, it's nowhere near gen in terms of accuracy. but i guess in overall terms this new real ceramic 441 would be the best available right now?

Hey Rookie, have you studied the Pam Guide? Admittedly these brand new additions won't be there yet but it's the most comprehensive data base on Pams there is.

oh cool thanks for the heads up mysterio :)

also now we wait and see if kw releases a full ceramic 438 as well

Well, kuvarsit also posted in their PAM441 sales thread:

KW PAM438 FULL CERAMIC ALSO COMING SOON

same as Puretime, so it's almost assured. We just have to wait for the release to compare.

New PAM 441 real ceramic seems awesome
They are not yet in PAM GUIDE because we had not yet enough info about the new watch
But I'm sure it is the best current version available

I thought of KW and V6Fac versions were the same watch (I have not made the comparison), but mysterio is saying that they are different and he is an expert, therefore we should study this matter more carefully
Please mysterio elaborate your comments to get the correct info
Thanks in advance

The mystery of the real source / sources of this watch is yet to be revealed. The KW version is already on the way to me (I will review it Wednesday/Thursday I suppose). I think it is the same watch (case set).

Thinking of biting on this one. Since it's an Asian 7750 movement, I hear service is absolutely necessary because of shoddy construction.

Does anyone else have experience with this type of movement from these factories?

I wouldn't say that. I have plenty of Pam's with A7750 movements that have been perfect out of the box and a few duds as well. I see no reason to run out and spend $150 to service a watch that is running decently out of the box. Use it "as is" for a while. If the watch is still a keeper after a month or two, you might want to consider a service. However, if you run out to service the watch immediately: (i) you will be waiting several weeks to get the watch back; and (ii) if you decide to sell the watch to buy the next great release, you'll be eating most of the cost of the service.

I have been AWOL for a month or two, so it's exciting to come back to the community/hobby to see some of these great improvements. The so-called KW and V6 case sets really look the same to me. The cost of producing a complete ceramic case set is not cheap, so I would be shocked if makers weren't sharing this case set supplier. I really want one of these ceramics, but I am going to hold off to see how these hold up. I recall there being plenty of issues early on with the 292 cases from noob and j-factory--lug issues etc. Ceramic is an amazing material, but it can be prone to cracking etc. A well cast case using high quality ceramic composite material should last for years, but this is new territory for rep makers (with a few exceptions). The recent influx of ceramics is exciting, but I want to see how they hold up in the real world for a few months. If, after a three or four months, there are no major complaints, this will be the dawn of a new day for reps.

The 438 is now online on kuvarsit.com.... But can't see, if the cannon pinion is still sunken, because the pics are not so good...

Rest of the watch seem to be perfect!
