it's alright.....not the best close up picture camera......

Have a Canon Rebel XT 8.2mp with 18-55mm lens and telephoto lens. shopping for a macro lens for it right now. Also have a small pocket Canon SD 400

However I still take shity pics. Need to lear to use lighting features on the camera.

Yeah, it's a great camera! My fiancee is using that right now with a 28-135 IS lens on it. she takes all sorts of wonderful fotos with it:




makes me feel retarded with my camera. it's so darn funny b/c she knew nothing about cameras/lenses and didnt care inteh world for them - her regular canon P&S was fine for her. I be talking about lenses "Ohhh this 300mm DO lens DROOL" or "oooo that 100mm macro *drool*" and she just gives me the old :roll:

but since i've gotten her that rebel last year, she's gone bonkers and became a photo-nerd and is pretty much now harrassing me for lenses... and saying all sorts of things that makes me go :roll:

I, as a poor college student 8) , use an EOS 300D (first Digital Rebel) witch stock EF-S 18-55mm lens. Does the trick, although I would like a macro lens as well.
