Hi there,
I think in year 2014 the Pams 382 are ready to take off and the quality is better then in year 2013.
Anyway, which one is better or closer to gen: 382 ZF or 382 KW.

Both are distributed from Toro and in mind condition, but where is "+" and "-" of these Pams

Thanks in advance, Peter

Both makers most likely are making new batches with some improvements
You should wait for the new batches

Anyway you will not get an absolute reply about your question, because there is no perfect replica and each person can live or admit some flaws more than other.
Therefore you should read all the threads about this watch. (all the links are included in PAM GUIDE even the review you are talking about).
In this way you will learn about the flaws of each watch and will be able to made your own decision following your taste.

You will never get a consensus about this watch, believe me

I don't recommend any 382 until they fix the movement assembly.

First of all, thanks for fast answering my question, guys!

@Ale
You should wait for the new batches
What do you mean and do you have more information of the new batches?

Yes I noticed the bad movement at forum but cant believe its soo bad.

I wear a gen Pam 243 and I love it, but if dont wear this watch 2 days the movement is standing still too.

I think the bad ass on the movement at 382 is the modification, coz the org Asia 7750 is working well and more then 24 hours.

Anyway, again thanks a lot guys... I wanne have a Bronzo but I dont want support any bad dealer who sell them for $30000 and more.

I believe the new ZF is coming out soon, but I am not sure.

My pick goes to ZF for quality control, and seemingly better quality bronze.

Quality control is not pretty good by ZF ( for exemple my tudor was DOA, my bronzo indexes were crooked...). But colour seems better than kw.

Patience is a key in the rep world. Generally it's best not to buy a watch when first released. Give the factories time to get the bugs out. I will wait a few more months then pull the trigger. My money is with the Kuvarsit products.

The KW 382 is a really nice watch. It's not a super rep, but the fit and finish is very good. I am not sure why someone is complaining about the "movement assembly". The A7750 without chronos are pretty reliable, but quality control isn't great across the board. Add a faux bridge and you increase the risk for issues. That said, my KW 382 keeps excellent time, winds smooth as melted butter and has a power reserve well in excess of 40 hours.

+1 on that! Exactly what I would say and what I will do. ;) Hope to see ST2555 version like other KW PAMs, then it's coming my way.

I am not sure why someone is complaining about the "movement assembly".

Supposedly, the movement is drilled then the decorative plate screwed thereon, whilst the movement is assembled. Thereby introducing metal shavings into the movement. I don't know if this is true or not, just what I've heard. I'm eagerly awaiting what develops with the upcoming version by ZF. If it impresses me, then ZF it is. If not, then I'm going with the KW version as it appears quite nice as-is.

I decided for the KW version. Received the QC pics today and am happy with what I did see. And if there will be a more perfect version from whoever, whenever, we'll see. Enjoy now instead of waiting for better times, ahem, timepieces. It's just a rep ;.)

I am not sure this will happen any time soon. While the ST2555 is a good, reliable movement, iif it breaks it is not really possible to service it (no way to source parts) and I am not sure it takes the same DW, dial and hands as the A7750 version (others here may know). While the A7750 is a little more expensive and isn't as accurate looking, parts are easy to find and most watchmakers can service it (without the chrono, it's one of the easier movements to work on).

As for shavings in the movement, I don't know much about that either. I was under the impression the bridge's were glued, which is why they are such a pain in the ass to work on. This would be true for both the ST2555 and A7750 versions. Reps are always being updated--sometimes the updates are improvements, sometimes not. This is one product where updated versions are often one step forward, two steps back. If you like the Bronzo, buy one. Waiting for a new version doesn't give you any assurance of getting a better watch (or even more accurate to gen).

But colour seems better than kw.

Where have you extracted this info from??

I have observed several times my PAM 382 KW. Just arrived from KW, after cleaning, then with some patina, then after cleaning with another product, new patina again...
All times the watch had a different colour from reddish to yellowish.
It is impossible to get such a statement without a carefully study or making a chemical analysis of the material of the case

I'm trying to get a sample to make the chemical analysis
