Hi all, as per the title I am looking to purchase a Pam 390N but i also like the 111N v3 which interests me also and looking at Toro's site they have 2 of the 390's the H version which is cheaper than the N so given the difference in price does the N justify the extra and also are both these pieces considered reliable mechanically? in the rep world I know that the 390 is highly regarded especially in and around these forums so guys which one would you buy and why and who from, I have never purchased from Toro but he does get plenty of good comments thanks in advance for any advice.

The H is cheaper because the overall quality of the noob is better and by better I mean nearly undistinguishable from gen.

Buy the Noob.

Whenever you order from a TD you get the latest version.

Ok so the Noob 390N it is, I thought as much from the feedback on here but just needed to ask the question and don't mind paying for the extra quality, i am going to order tonight is there any TD that stands out as being one of the best to order the 390N from was thinking Toro's as he seems to get good feedback on the forum?

If you ask around you might find some that offer better prices that others, but overall Toro is very good and very trusted.

Just a quick update ordered the 390N Noob from Toro last night and QC pics arrived this morning quick or what. It looks stunning and pics look fine no issues I can see so confirmed the order and now the wait begins. Thanks every one for pointing me in the right direction with the Noob version as opposed to the cheaper H I am sure I wont regret it, will try to get some good pics posted upon arrival.

The problem is not the version on the catalogue but the version you will receive

We are now in a transition period where you can receive midcase V4 with V3 crown... etc ...and even different versions of V4 case

There are a lot of mixing and inconsistencies in current batches from all makers

Anyway you will receive a better watch than old versions

Is it quality good?

I would buy a DSN for certain models, which he is the only builder.

For the PAM390 I would go with the recommendations from ALE7575 guide.
