Where to find Seiko 5 SNXJ90 Rep

Considering the greater Seiko Mod scene out there, one would think it wouldn't be hard to find a nice Seiko 5 Rep of this vintage discontinued watch; made famous in the movie American Psycho.

Ideally Id like to find one with a newer movement like NH36, perhaps an upgraded crystal and jubilee bracelet.

Any direction to whom I may commission to have this one made?

I'm sure they can do it. The hardest part probably is the dial. There are a bajillion Seiko Datejust homage builds out there so making this probably is no issue.

Not cheap for what it is, considering it's vintage Seiko with only NH level movement and no real gold.

I see it priced at around $350-650 usually.

That's what I said! I was lurking in the seiko mods sub reddit and someone there found an ali express store that sold this exact watch as a kit to assemble, for like around $36 LOL

He told me you can find them on any platform for 300-500. LOL my hunt continues on..
