Hello

Looking to get straps.
Mainly leather and mesh ones.

Where do you usually go to pick up straps?

Should maybe mention price point being 0-100€

We have a plethora of custom strap makers here. There are also many artisans online that specialize in working with different types of materials.

Right, I’d love to support makers here! Where would I find these artists and makers on here ?

I need a 21 mm leather or mesh for a jlc ultra thin moonphase. Nothing fancy

Here’s another stupid question from me
So my watch I was told need 21 mm strap but can I get a strap that is 20 mm as well? I guess as long as it is <21 mm it’s good right ?

but it’s just when I search for 21 mm I don’t find that many straps
However for 20 mm there are way more
I will 1 mm result in an ugly gap?

Any strap maker can get you a strap with the exact dimensions you need. Why would you want to wear something that doesn't fit properly ?

I’ve never really purchased straps or any parts for watches before as hehe I’ve never had one before so hence why I’m all new to this. And why the level of questions are on a very basic level.

Of course I wants something that fits it’s just that I want to understand if I can compromise on the width. But it sounds like I should stick to 21 mm then.
Thank you :)

There's no reason to compromise. Just like when you buy a pair of shoes, you wouldn't buy the wrong size.

Well I do.
I can wear everything between 43.5-45
The 45 are a bit big for running but just walking in is fine
43.5 are too smal for running but for dress shoes they’re perfect
So I compromise a lot when it comes to shoes hehe
That’s why I was thinking to apply the same logic to straps.

Don't compromise on the strap, it'll do your head in when it's on wrist. Get the correct width so it doesn't shake and move all over the place. Surely that's easy enough, there's loads of strap options around

Hi, am looking to get a JLC ultrathin moon from GF factory, @Granater123 did you go for the 20 or 21 strap in the end and how did it look? Did you go for a curved or straight strap? Thanks A
