where to buy reps in singapore??

i´m going to singapore in dez. i´m looking for some good spots to buy high class reps.. any ideas?
also lokking for rep. cloth.. is there a shopping center in singapore where all this is available??
(like the mbk in bkk)??

Hi neverworn...

Unfortunately, reps are not readily available like they are in MBK. The authority is very strict with counterfeit products (even bags, DVDs, games etc). THe closest place near Singapore where you can find reps is in Holiday Plaza in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, which is just a causeway away. Ask around the consierge or taxi driver and they will direct you to a place where you can take a cab to that place. Remember to bring along your passport.

how far is this holiday plaza away??

Close enough for a day trip. Driving up from downtown Singapore to the causeway (1st Link) takes about 20 mins. Crossing of the causeway depends on the traffic going through the immigration, from 15 mins to 45 mins. From JB immigration to Holiday Plaza takes another 5 minutes.

Just be careful when you enter Johor Bahru because its a different world. My wife and I were followed by a group of 4 or 5 youths from the minute we crossed the causeway until the minute we left. Everytime we stopped to look at something one came close obviously waiting for an opportunity. Another would dissappear around the corner and then re appear come towards us.

Its a difficult situation because no crime has been commited but you know its coming. I threaten one of them who came too close to my wife but how can you prove intent. The safety of my wife became the priority so we did a stratigic withdrawal to the tranquility of Singapore and bought a couple of gens instead (only Hugo Boss but quite a nice crono)

@ seraph thanx alot! but: is it worth the trip?? i´m only into high quality.. and thats hard to find.. even in the mbk..

@ felipe56.. hmm that is defenatly not what i´m looking for.. the safty of my wife is the most importend thing for me while travelling.. :shock:
