Where to buy good Reps in KL

Morning/Afternoon/Evening Ladies and Gent

I'm from Australia and will be travelling to KL next week. I'll be travelling with the wife and kids (3 kids all under 8). I'm only staying it KL for two nights before we fly out to Penang. Due to the limited time and the fact that I'll have 3 children with me, I was hoping for someone to steer me in the right direction for decent Reps and what would be reasonable prices to pay for them.

I know of Petaling St and Sungei Wang Plaza (Im staying at the park royal which I believe is across the road from Sungei Wang Plaza) but want more detailed info such as shop name or location. I'm looking at buying a few PAMs and U-boats.

I have searched this forum but a lot of the info is 2+ years old so I don't know if it's still valid. I saw the thread where I should be asking to see the watches in a locked safe lol. I'm not an expert in being able to tell the difference between a 21J and something decent but I love my Reps. I've purchased most of my Reps from Thailand in the past so KL will be a new experience. You should avoid buying reps from shop instead buy it from TDs as listed in this forum. Reason being, ordinary shop around Bukit bintang/Sungei Wang Plaza will charge you around USD650 for sub V6/V7 which is higher than TDs. I'm not sure about PAMs and U-boats. If you're tourist, it is even worse if they sell you the chippie rep but they claim it is the high quality since you mentioned that you're not to able to identify which reps is low or high quality.

However, you can check this seller in Sungei Wang Plaza if interested.

Thanks for you reply frosterosen. I agree with you in it being better to buy from TDs on this forum but in saying that, I like to see the watch and try it on in person before I buy it. I will definitely try look for that place you suggested. Cheers
