Hello guys,

i have a DSN PAM112 with FineDD´s AR coating and i think the lume from DSN is a very good out of the box lume, i like it very much but I WANT MORE!!
I know that vaccum offers one of the best lume jobs around here but first he dont accept watches from germany and second the price for his lume job is too high for me.

Now my question/s is/are.

Who make a very good lume for a low/normal price situated in europe?

and

Who of you have experience after doing a lume job on a DSN sandwich dial?
Is there a big difference?
Is it worth to make this mod or is the DSN lume already a good lume with no space for high upgrade?

yes this would be my favorite alternative but i have no experiences in mixing of the lume, mixing the right colour and application of it.
I think the sandwich dial would be easy but the hands are a bigger problem.
And i would be scared to practice on my loved watch.

I would think that with a sandwich dial, DSN's lume would be good enough. Do you have any pics? If he screwed it up, and made it too weak, let him know and include pics, he'll usually send another dial.

No, dont understand me wrong. Im not unsatisfied with DSN`s lume. Its a really good lume, it glows bright and long not like the rep standard lume.
But when i see the pics of vaccum, goins or alvinados lume i think its a level higher than DSN´s lume...

...but how i said, im not sure if this lumes would be better than DSN lume.
Pics dont are a real reference because it depends on the shutter time of the cam how good the lume looks on the pic.
I never saw a relumed watch in real, always on pics. I would be very interested in see one so i could decide if its worth to relume my watch.
And because of that i asked if someone around here ever relumed a DSN sandwich dial so he can say if it was an advancement or not so clear.

Vac and Ziggy lume is definitely better than DSN's, as for Goin I can't say as I've never had a dial relumed by him.

But if DSN did a good job, and managed to get the right aqua green when glowing, then it probably would not really be worth it. However DSN luming has been sub-par the last year and can sometimes be absolutely terrible, which is why I asked how your dial was. But it is usually the sausage dials that he's had trouble with, not the sandwich.
