I've just received a PAM212 from one of our dealers and the threads on the strap bars are shot. I will of course contact the dealer and ask for some more, but as he's in China that will take time. Does anyone know where I can get some in the meantime?

I've looked on the Bay as I know you can sometimes get them there but nada. Davidesen doesn't look like he has them either.

Any ideas?

Are you talking about spring bars for PAMs or replacement screw-in bars? Replacement screw-in bars are available all over the 'Bay, as well as from Elliot. I order my springbars from River. I think my last set took about 4 days to get delivered from the day I ordered. Pretty quick, if you ask me.

I have an extra set of 24mm springbars, Tom. I'll sell them to you for the same price as River if you want them. They're just "back ups", so I can wait for another order from River without being sans watch.

Just let me know.

The ones I am after are the "screw in" bars - don't know the technical term which is why I probably cant find them on Ebay. If anyone could tell me where on the bay I can get them I would be grateful.

I've seen them advertised as just "tubes and screws" for Panerai watches. I've never bought any replacement screws, so I don't know if there is a concern about them being the same size threads as the ones that come in our reps or not.

I've bought buckles and tubes from this guy, before: http://stores.ebay.com/WHOLESALEOUTLET9 ... idZ2QQtZkm

Perhaps waccex.de or The Watch Boys sell them, too?
