The two pics are definitely different straps, the strap in the first pic is very nice and high-quality, the second picture is an eBay special I see them in many colors, http://www.ebay.com/itm/322021449434 I bought one, not terrible but definitely not a longterm wear. agree with the combat straps recommendation
