The thing is that I can't wind my PAM 176 from H Factory. When you try to wind it the hands move like if you were setting the hour...

Some days ago I couldn't set the hour.. when I pulled the crown it keept winding.. So I forced a little bit to pull the crown so I was able to set the hour... And now I can't wind it..

Well.. I though of taking it to a watchsmith to repair (I think It won't be difficult because the movement works perfect and it's just the crown thing..).

But I've been thinking that maybe will be better to get a high beat 6497-2 movement and replace it.

So what do you think?

And the main question.. Where can I buy a high beat 6497-2 movement??

Thank you!

And another thing....

The movement for a 176-112 is the same as the movement for a 005/177 with seconds hand??

I mean... If a buy 3-4 6497-2 movements for a 112, 176 , 005 and 177... Should I buy differents movements or just the same movement will fit in all of them??

Problem is that the 176 has an open caseback, so you can't buy a simple a6497-2....
My best bet would be to source it used from an old 111J (Noob maker) or buy a new 111m (from Noob maker) and sell the rest of the watch as parts.

I had my 176 upgraded with the new platinum plated high-beat movements by Sead1999, he might be able to do it for you as well. Maybe I'd write to him first, he is a very nice guy and good to deal with ;)

Thanks for the recommendations!

An user just offered me a ST3600 movement high beat just like 6497/2 not engraved but working well... In a very good price...

So I think I will take it and put it on a 318 with the close case back.. and install the 318 low beat movement on the 176 ...

What do you think?

Is the ST3600 as good as the last 6497-2 movement...??
