I kinda like it, this is the 201a in progess. LH, T48, DSN pre-v case, swiss, fgd dial (heading to marty) and fgd hands (cream now?)

I'm debating sending it at all because the lume on the hands and the nonlumed paint in the dials match. Kinda neat having a matching dial.

Thoughts? I thought FGD dials should have been white?

Every FGD dial I've ever gotten has had the aged tritium look lume or paint in the indices, COLDI.

Your new Pre-A 002 dial is the same (I'll be shipping it on Sat.), BTW.

Ya I know. But if I relume it to have the mismatched look (orange tritium and white hands) won't I have to get the hands relumed to white?

Or will the tan still be accurate?

Depends. Gen hands were tritium, too. They would age, they just weren't varnish covered like the dials. The varnish is what causes the extreme patina of dial indices in some, but not all, cases.

So, the hands likely only *appear* white, compared to the very patina'd dials. Unless they were swapped at a service for luminova hands. Which, I'm certain, has happened.
