PANERAI RADIOMIR 1940 (42 mm) / PAM00512
Anybody already saw this beauty available somewhere?

Few days ago I just went to see the gen. Its a stunning size and finish! Just not as bulky as regular PAMs are, especially to people with small wrist. A real game changer in the opinion of the luxury watch dealer, which I agree.

What do you think?

Cheers,

This watch actually wears very small, while the 514 47mm wears awkwardly big on a 7in wrist.

It's very pretty but I would have preferred they had made it just 45 mm instead of going all the way down to 42mm

Thanks for your contribution.
IMO its a move in the direction of providing a decent watch for people with smaller wrists. With a 6-7inch wrist a regular pam with its thinkness and 45+diameter looks just too conspicious. I really hope to find the rep here somewhere, I love this watch from the day I had the gen on my wrist!

Yes I saw and worn every PAM 1940 in a gen exhibition in Madrid on 17 October of this year

As you surely know there are:

PAM 512 SS 42mm
PAM 513 RG 42mm
PAM 514 SS 47mm
PAM 515 RG 47mm

All them are really awesome, even the Red Gold models were elegant (very red colour), with impressive brown alligator straps
As above said by OP surv, they seem less bulky than other PAm models.

Some people with small wrist liked the 42mm models, but I used to big watches preferred by far the 47mm. Many people were saying that a 44mm had been a better choice considering 47mm too big and 42mm too small. Almost watches for women, that indeed were perfect for that

Anyway, I must to admit that 47mm is a bit ridiculous for very small wrist.

See the pics of PAM 515 and 514 in a very small wrist

And now the PAM 513 in the same wrist

As you can see for very small wrist looks much better 42mm

See below the movement of PAM 445 Tourbillon GMT Ceramica that I saw in the same exhibition, more 210.000 USD in my hand !!!

Yes it was a fun exhibition with few people and many watches and many hours or comments, touching and wearing (all 2013 news)
Unfortunately I have lost the most of taken pics due to a camera problem.

I have about 7,3 inch of wrist and for me 47mm was perfect
