This cheapie sub, came with a 2813 which suffered an operator error (I accidentally broke the date pin), so I fitted a Miyota.

I also upgraded the bracelet to a rubber and fitted a Glidelock clasp, this was my first RWI purchase in November 2023 ....

I have two daily beaters: a Seiko 5 Day-Date and a Tactical Frog FX, basically a Tudor FXD homage. Both watches are 42mm in diameter, powered by a bullet-proof Seiko automatic movement and provide incredible bang for the buck.

I know not very exciting. If I'm truly going for beater like hammering, sweating, scraping on concrete or just not caring at all these are what I tend to wear for no worries. But if just not caring if I hit on door jams etc. then it can be almost anything. Right now I'm actually wearing a Tactical Frog FXD Chrono for comfort and not worrying about scratches. I treat my reps much better than gens.
