What's Up With WatchOutlet?

I've recently discovered this (Non?) TD called WatchOutlet (formerly WatchStation) which offers Reps at ridiculously low prices and the only flaw about it seems that there's no refund if your package gets seized or the watch is DOA/stops working at some point.

Is there anything else I should know before ordering to the EU? Because this all seems to good to be true.

Im Just very skeptical because ~16 USD + Shipping for a JF Nautilus seems a bit off for me.. But for me it seems like it's worth the risk!

But really, you get discount pricing because you choose to forgo aftersales service. If you can fix your own watches or have access to a good watchsmith and also live in an area with lax customs, no reason to not use them.

That's the thing.. I don't really carry about warranty because my local watchsmith is willing to work on reps. Would you say shipping to middle Europe is a big risk?

I believe they offer triangle shipping for Europe. Check with them and see what shipping they recommend.

just an FYI i purchased a sub from them with a 2836... it was a 2836 but it didnt have the correct cannon pinion height that you need for a sub so the hands sat very close to the dial. All in all you get what you pay for. if you are very particular it will bother you. if no then go for it. I purchased it before i knew better.

It's not a flaw, it's a feature. :lol: The reason why you pay a lot lower for the same watch is you waive the risk involved. I've bought from them when shipping China to China which is virtually risk-free.

So I've just seen that if you change the site's currency to USD, the prices don't math because the AP 15450 just jumped to $269 when the original converted price from Yen to USD would be $16.

Does anyone know what's going on with that?

You are using Yen exchange rate and not Yuan exchange rate. Their site are doing right conversion

when I was reading 16$ yesterday i already wondered what @murdoc2708 was talking about and thought he might have forgotten to add a 2 but now it all makes sense Yuan is not Yen. different country

I ordered from them 6 watches. They offer triangle. Waiting for my order now. Next two days they should be here Everything was fine, Very fast reply, fast QC an fast shipping. Nothing to say bad about WO for me. I'll check the order soon. Here are my QCs I get for my order: (I also marked something red, then they send better/other pictures to me, also the timegrapher results where ok and prooftest also) I think WO work together with puretime because WO often send me links from puretime usw. So they also told me that they have the same watches than puretime. I don't know exactly if they work together or not...
