I am looking for a watch with a sandwich dial and i will be getting a leather strap for it...
I have been searching and i think im blind but i can't really tell a difference between the watches...
can some one please hold my hand and explain this to me....
No one held my hand!
In a nutshell, 183 & 210 are part of the Radiomir line. Different (cushion style) case. 183 & 210 share the same case (made of stainless steel). 183 has a second hand, 210 does not. 183 and 210 always had a sandwich dial.
111, 112, 177, 176 share the same case design. But 111 & 112 are stainless steel, 177 & 176 have titanium cases. 111 has second hand, 112 does not. 177 has second hand, 176 does not.
111 & 177 share the same dial.
112 & 176 share the same dial.
115 & 117 are "destro." Which means left handed. I.e. crown is on opposite side.
115 is stainless steel
117 is titanium.
E, F, G, H, I... refferes to the year. For the "H" model year, Panerai switched over to sandwich dials on the 111/112 and 176/177. They also changed the finish on the movements from the "paneraipaneraipanerai' engraving to simple, classic cote de Geneve.
"Pre H" 111/112 and 176/177 did not have a sandwich dial.
There is no 115 or 117 H. The 115 was on made for "E, F, G model years." 117 was only made during the "E year."
If you want a "destro" with a sandwich dial, the only one made is the 219, but it does not have a second hand.
Of course there was also the 127 and 217, both of which had/have sandwich dials. The 127 & 217 share the same case, which is 47mm.
The 111/112, 176/177 are 44mm.
180 & 210 are 45mm.
That should answer your questions.
