I'm wondering what the difference between these two cases. I see a fare amount of people parting out a noob 111 V3 and putting their 390 in it. I think i read the AR is better on the noob case, but what else makes it better than the H maker case?

The current Noob factory is better in general, It is made with the same structure as the gen case (bezel, crown tube, etc…) has better finísh, better engraved caseback and smaller tolerances. And mainly has a more accurate and better finished CG with sharp inner edges.
However the Crown of H maker is better, as you can see in below thread:

Concerning the Steel of both watches, the Noob is made of 316F and the H maker of 316L. The SS 316F is more easy for machining and polishing but this is not an advantage for buyers but for makers, but with the same work it gets better results of finish. To get more info about this SS matter read:

It is a pity that Puretime site and server are down, because there is a study made by Angus comparing the gen, H maker and Noob watches and in this study the differences are clear. This thread is a Sticky thread in RWI PAM Section:

but due to Puretime breakdown you will not be able to see the pics.
When the Puretime server is OK you will be able to read the thread and see the pics and you will get all answers.
