Whats the deal with this new 104i

So I have traded this for a few weeks with a friend and I keep seeing how the crystal is colorless and just the cyclops has AR. This crystal is colorless most the time but if certain lights hit it then its BLUE. Is this an old crystal or whats the deal?

i got one from angus , the AR is pretty blue , heard its from the ultimate 199 batch or something . i had it re done by taka .

Its clear but at certain angles in certain lights it becomes blue!

I'm wondering if they are all like this before I order one.

well mine is the older version and i never saw it with factory ar, i sent it to taka as soon as i bought it magic watch!!!

I just unpacked my 104i from Angus. It doesn't look cloudy like your first pic, but when you are outdoors, at certain angles, there is a very distinct blue cast to the AR. Here are some shots to demonstrate:

Same lighting, same position of the watch, I just turned my wrist a bit to the angle where it turns blue. I can't seem to reproduce that blue effect indoors, just in natural light.

This is kind of disappointing, to be honest. The QC pics showed no such blue cast, and I don't know who does AR and can also remove/replace the cyclops. I remember that being a pain before. Ah well, I guess it was too much to expect a rep that didn't need modding.

Way ahead of you, man, got it in the mail today from jay. I also have an NL CG and a T-48 on the way, then it's off to Vac or Katt for a tune up

My 104 has a blue haze too. Not as extreme as those shown, but still annoying in certain light.

i got it from angus last month and went to taka straight away for ar and done within the nxt few days . belongs to my wife , jus wore it out so i can take some pics for you guys .
