Hi, i am buying my grandfather a present for his 70th birthday. I've search for the watch he might like ( i hope so ).

Anyway, i need to present it to him nicely, therefore i am planning to get a box but i am unsure what's really inside of the box.

LINK OF BOX:http://intime.co/product.php?id_product=1093

It would be nice if someone can show me what's inside the box, paper etc.
Picture would be much better!

Sorry, but that's something 'intime' can only answer. Best to ask them. ............. none of my business here, but you are getting your 70 yr old granddad a PAM ?? Have you considered something like an Omega Railmaster with a big dial or something along those lines. More fitting for his age ........ I could see Hugh Heffner sporting a PAM in his bathrobe, but ........... that's another story............. I would be amazed to see a granddaddy at that age wearing a PAM !! Just my two cents here............good luck !!

That's a very nice watch. Omega Railmaster. The reason why i chose PAM359 is because it is classic and simple yet expensive. Also, he's old, the pam359 has numbers, it is better for him to see. Yeah...

Anyway, i put this up because maybe someone might have bought the box before so i thought they could tell me how is it like? i would just want to know if they are empty so i can fill things in for him..

chromed.

basically, what u see is what u get.

pictures in the link clearly show whats "inside" but here's a breakdown:-

1) pam screwdriver(which really is a size 1.4 or 1.6 screwdriver)
2) watch pillow(for your pam)
3) removable box insert, which u can just use the box to store other things. (has 3 "compartments", from left to right - slot for screwdriver, pillow slot, slot for additional strap. strap IS NOT included)
4) faux velvet cloth for decor(wont recommend u use it to clean ur watch)
5) papers(which really is just a booklet&a cert)
6) panerai card(which may or may not state model number)

here's an idea of how a fully "filled" pam 359 box looks like.

this is how the box in the link would look like "filled".

as u can see, the current rep boxes arent accurate for e PAM359. or any pam that has e QR(quick release) mechanism. as there's an additional slot for e QR tool on top of what is mentioned in point 3. it is accurate for most manual &/or auto wind pams which are not LEs(limited editions).

but e QR tool should come with any order of e PAM359 so u can just replace e screwdriver for e QR tool. or u could do what i did to my pam box 3yrs ago.

sorry for the long/nagging post.

cheers!

PS: i do think that a nice Rolex, PP, AP RO or mayb a Radiomir, if u insist on a PAM, would suit ur dad better. but hey, he's ur dad, u can gift him whatever u like, as long as he's happy. :)
