Curious to know what you guys think.

I mean, how much better is the UPO selling for 300USD ?

Does it justify the price?


This one is only $60 and so the risk is minimal.

Avoid it like the plague!

The movement among the worst I've ever seen, and the seconds hand is all wrong. Not even close to a UPO.

If you want a cheapie, get in touch with Reg (Narikaa) or Lawrence (Houseofsouvenirs)

Reg doesn't have a website, as such, as you will find when you click the link.

He does, though, answer questions promptly and will source you almost any watch you require. He's one of the good guys.

When I say "cheapie", I speak solely in terms of price. Quality often varies, even amongst "ultimate" models.

You can drop Reg a line at [email protected] and ask him what he has in stock in terms of Planet Oceans.

Why don't you use the search-function? There are tons of threads about the UPO, the Poorika and the comparison with a gen. Just my 2c :boohoo:

Wow, this one is ALSO a "Grade 1 Genuine Japanese Watch".

Run away.

The image they provide is a generic GEN photo that dozens of websites are using. Also note the watch in the video is NOT the same as the one in the photo; it has a rubber strap and the 007 second hand.

Not to mention the fact that outside of a used watch I have never seen a PO with the curved link bracelet for less than $100.
