What would be the best PAM for someone new to PAMs?

Hi All,
I'm not really into huge watches but do admire the classic (vintage) look of some of the PAMs out there. What would you suggest as a good introduction type model to look at?
Thanks in advance.

A lot of people will suggest either the 111 or 372 as good "gateway" models that have classic DNA. It really comes down to personal preference, but I would take into account size (case diameter), functions (date, seconds, etc.) and use (dress, sport or dive). If you can narrow it down to say a 44mm dive watch or a 47mm dress watch with small seconds, then your search will be much easier. What has caught your eye thus far?

pam372 for the 47mm, or a pam111 for the 44mm.

...or just go straight for the pam382 ;)

I kindda dig smaller and more dress up able if possible (something I can wear with a suit) would be ideal.

With a suit, you can get away with the bigger watches (some of my previous posts illustrate this quite well haha), but if you're looking for a more traditional dress watch, then I would look at Radiomirs (no crown guard and in general, thinner than their Luminor brothers) or the new Due line of Luminors. Despite the latter getting a bit of a bad rap, they present well and accomplish the look of a PAM without lugging around a brick on your wrist.

After looking around, the Radiomirs seem more my speed! Many thanks!

Both the Pam337 & the Pam574 aren’t huge at 42mm and are good looking Radiomirs. Classic, great with a suit

I think we have a winner.

Many thanks!

And many thanks to one and all for sharing.

Kindest regards,
RD

There’s Rose Gold versions around of the both too.
If that’s to your liking. Pam336, and 575 respectively

Just saw this and fell in love. I want to try before I buy (a gen) as it were so will be heading over to trusty.

Many thanks all!

Ps. Carbonara great looking watch Sir!
