Hi, im just wondering what did you guys use to open the backcase of your pams, i just want to to some basic waterproofing, so i need to open the back case and apply some grease to the Rubber O rings.Actually i bought the rubber ball back case opener , but its quite hard to open a back case with it, and when i want to close the back case , ive no idea whether i closed it tight enough or not.
So im looking for better alternatives
So far ive seen 2 options for the panerai backcase opener
A metal screwing tool and a sticky gloves
Which one is better?
Will the metal screwing tool scratches the edges of the back case?
Or will the sticky rubber gloves is prefferable?
And can you guys provide the link on where to buy them ?

While we are at it, what kind of grease did you guys use? And also where to get them?
I want to buy those grease that are specifically made for watches but i dont know where to get.

Thank you.

I use something like this.

Cheap and shitty... but it works if your careful and know how to use it. (around 10$ from ebay or Ali) Better quality cost more of course.

The above should be anodised aluminium and I imagine unlikely to scratch stainless steel. I have a similar set and work perfectly on my pams

I use duct tape. Bunch it up in a ball, press the sticky side against the case back and twist. Works like a charm and no risk of scratching.
