What should I Mod on a new RM Fiddy?

I've got my new fiddy from Replicamake just before CNY and am thinking of doing some mods to it. Can anyone advise what's already good and what needs modding, why and how? Oh and while i would like to do the mods myself, who can I turn to for the more complicated modding jobs in Asia/Singapore?

Oh and the movement does not seem to keep good time... Any way I can fix that?

CG pin, lume, remount the plates on the mvt as they are off

cg mod, superlume, cp mod, just get a new mov, i gotta say , if i were u why would u put 200-300 or more on that watch when u could have gotten a dsn, at this point just wear it and dont do anything

I hate to use Western Union... Replicamake allows me to use paypal, which means I can do all my shopping late at night when I have more time...

I also got confused if DSN is still doing the fiddy, his sub forum is quiet for a while now and it appears the parties are now moving on to the cartel versions which I was told is quite good... I suppose RM does not stock the ultimate version (the one that kkj has which I happened to see is brilliant)...

Okay, I think CG mod and the CP mods are things that one can do himself... anyone can share/show how?

theres a tutorial for the cp for a fiddy here but be forwarned if u havent done any mods it will be hard especially shaving down the minute hand

In sg u can look up spinmaster or taka to see if there's any mods needed .

keep it very simple, dont put too much money in cartel fiddys

dsn is alive and well. just strip the ar and don't put too much into that watch. if you like it just buy a better one in the future. enjoy it that's important.

how do you get to see what dsn has for sale

He has a photobucket account and I'm pretty sure you just email him what you want, be extremely specific and he should get back with a price... His watches are great right away, this isn't a fiddy, rather a marina militare 47mm what he calls vintage. This doesn't need many of the mods listed. It has a Swiss 6497 movement, super lume, tight/flush cg, very light AR, sapphire crystal. I love this watch.

You may end up paying $200-500 more to modify your watch which has an Asian movement. Or you can get a DSN with a Swiss movement for less than $500 in most cases.

how do you get to see what dsn has for sale

Just check his photobucket. His site requires work, but he sure has some beautiful stuff. I bought my ultimate Fiddy from him in November. He was, as usual, really easy to deal with. I send him a Moneygram. Costs me $10 for the service and seems to work just great.
