Guys
I've just received a genuine 7750, fully working. :D

Thing is, i don't know what i should do with it:

stick it in the Avenger
stick it in the forthcoming Nav Fighters edition project

or

get a Daytona case, crown & dial??

Hmmmm???

Hey, that's nice! What dial does it have on it?

Daytona? Daytonas don't use 7750s.

I say get an IWC GST Chrono and a genuine dial and slap the 7750 in that, but I'm biased. :D

Pug, bad news, I heard from the other side that hand size for Asian 7750 at 28kbph is different from ETA7750.

Yeah, I read somewhere about the difference in hand sizes too.
I'll try it anyway, failing that I also have a blue Navitimer dial with gold batons but I'm not really a fan of gold...unless its bullion!
I'm sure a gen set of Navitimer hands will show up somewhere.
Which brings me to my next question -

In order to obtain gen. parts via a watchmaker, do you have to supply details other than model no & serial no? In other words, is it more difficult than obtaining say, a brake servo for a car???

I've not checked to see what dial it is yet, just says Breitling 1884, with an applied logo. Its about 28mm diameter. Very good condition, generally

I think Breitling dial is OK. Rolex is harder to obtain and more expensive. Most authorised parts dealers required exact caseback number and also model number... For example Exxxxx is for breitling with Ti case.

Cheers for that :)

So I couldn't just use A.N.Other watch maker then?

They have to be 'on the list'?
