What PAM to get a G-Shock user?

Hi everyone. I'm more of a Rolex/Tudor guy so I thought I'd ask the veterans here. My brother wears a G-Shocks and I thought a Panerai would make a nice gift since PAMs have a similar sort of wrist presence but I have no idea which PAM to get him. I've read ALE's guide but I'm still lost because there are multiple versions of a model and at different price points. Could you guys please recommend a Super rep?

I think a sub model looks like the kind of PAM he might enjoy.

Noob Pam111 / 005 a perfect first choice imo and they go for a really good price now days

If your friend might like subs, the PAM243 Noob V2 or H-Factory V2 or the PAM087 at 44mm, PAM569, PAM364, PAM571, PAM285, PAM508 and PAM607 on the 47mm end.

If you are looking to a Sub, I would had to the list the Pam 389, the bezel will not be scratched easily and it fits very well with Rubber strap

I've always thought of the submersibles to be pretty good G-shock substitutes! I personally had eyes on the 616 although not a super rep. Next in line should be the PAM508 and get the accordion strap!

I've swam with my PAM508 (with the Kevlar strap and dive buckle, not the accordion though). Solid performance.

I would recommend the PAM508 from V6F(KW). Match exactly what you're looking for, and it is a Super Rep.
