What movement is this?

I paid for the upgrade to "swiss eta" This is from pure-time, it's a deep sea james cameron rolex rep

They told me they didn't have genuine eta, just reps of genuine eta. But, the local watch smith told me it was a gen movement...was he fooled or correct?

I'm sorry I don't have the tool to open the watch so I can't take any more pics, I just snapped a pic of it while he had it open. The watch keeps perfect time and has been doing so for about 5 months now. I would love to know whether it's gen or rep, and what movement it is regardless (28xx-x or what not?)

And I know it's off topic but just wanted to show how great the lume is!

That looks to be a Sellita movement there

ok thank you so much!

Not sure about the difference between sellita and eta. I think I need to do some reading. I think they are both swiss though

You are correct. The sellita is a clone of the ETA but it is swiss.
A while back before the swatch wars, sellita used to supply ebauches to ETA, (actually since the ETA fire I think they might be doing it recently too) and eventually Sellita started producing complete movements.

They are supposed to be just as good as the ETA counterparts

And, you don't have to worry about getting an old or refurbished ETA movement. I personally would rather have Sellita
