Noob question...which of these two Fiddy movements is the most representative of the authentic? A or B? OR both?

B but wrong shape shock. No Y shape.

Huh? What thingy are you referring to? Pardon my non technical jargon, just trying to figure out the give aways. I don't see anything that looks like a Y...

A. low beat 6497
B. hi beat ,

both are not the best

Why would you say that? It is a replica. Unless you replace it with an original movement or original parts, what is the alternative? Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Artsyguy

A , 18000 VPH asian clone 6497 with Geneve , no engraved logo . It's earlier clone 6497 , so the details are different from the Swiss , like the pearl size , gear pin size ...etc .
The movement is very loud when working , and power reserve about 36hrs .

B , 21600VPH high beat A6497 (ST36) , copy from PANERAI movement , so the bridge shape are the same as PAMs . The one you showed is no engraved bridges with stickers . ST36 is with better quality and better power reserve (about 50 hrs) .

Even it's a replica , you still have some better choice , you can find a ST 36 with real engraved bridges , swan neck , and sword type adjust hand .

Read and search more about the Fiddy , you will know more .
Here're some rep fiddy I ever moded or owned .

Thanks so much for you detailed reply Goin. I didn't realize the movement I have on my Fiddy (B) was a sticker on the movement instead of engraving. Haven't taken a loupe to it, mostly because I wouldn't know what to look for if I did...
I guess my biggest complaint on my Fiddy is that I'd like the power reserve to last longer than it does, but overall it is an awesome watch and has become my favorite watch that never fails to bring compliments.

After looking closer, I cannot see ANY difference in my Fiddy mvmt (I didn't post pics of my Mvmt)
vs. Your
Photos Goin...I think I bought a great watch!

Post pics and we'll tell you if you did or not.

:ttiwwop:

Why are you not happy with your power reserve?

Love my Fiddy Jam!!!! Just curious about what I got in terms of a movement. It won't be a deal breaker or insult no matter what I find out. I really like my watch and it has been getting a LOT of wrist time. I'll get around to posting a macro photo of the movmt one of these days. Too busy actually shooting REAL jobs to do so right now :)
