My father gave me this Gen Omega a long time ago.
I had it tucked away for many years, until recently that I got the Rep bug.
The ss bracelet has a push pin missing.
It doesn't have a model number, anywhere that I can see.
The only reference it has is "Omega MegaQuartz 10Hz"
Does anyone know what model it is?
I would like to order a new ss band for it.
Maybe surfing the web, but actually I don't know where to begin?
Appreciate any help guys!!! 8)

(I need more practiceon my pics, so bare with me)

Nice collectible watch you have there... It's made circa 70s I guess... Not auto but quartz with microstepper probably. The model number should be found on the inner caseback. You can search then on ofrei... Mind you, omega bracelets are expensive and chances are your model has already been discontinued.

You absolutely positively 100% sure it says 10Hz?

Sure it's not another figure like 2.4MHz?

Ok, looking at your picture, it is indeed NOT a 10Hz stepper.

The MegaQuartz watches were rated in KHz and MHz. They're supposedly accurate quartz watches.

Yes, I think its 2.4MHz, I left the watch at home, and you can see my pics aren't that good.
The minutes hand can be independently moved from the hours hand.
Or they can move both at the same time!

***PUG you think with a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P72 3.2MegaPixels, if I keep practicing I can get good clear close up pics of my watches?.(I think it's me and not the camera!)***

Absolutely. Cwai02 did some neat shots with his $100 camera, as did I.

Taken with something much worse than your Sony:
