What kind of Speedmaster is this?

If I remember correctly, this is one of the precursor of modern Speedmaster with 24 hours and day-month combo. One of the limited edition. I can't remember exactly but it's based on ETA7750.

Not so much... The one that can fetch a lot is the limited edition, Lemania based Speedy. They usually look like a Moonwatch but with fancy dial combo/caseback combo. My estimates, this one is less than 2k USD.

I think these triple calendar speedies running the 7751 are actually not as old as they look. Weren't they made until as recently as the late 90s/early 2000s? I remember seeing one sell for well over $2k a couple of years ago in Australia.

PS: I got curious and did a search... The model is 3520.53.00. If you can get it for well under $2k you've got a good deal. There's an interesting review here: http://www.wristwatchreview.com/2007/06/09/review-omega-speedmaster-day-date/

They sell it for $1200. I'm not a huge omega fan though.

The white/silver dial/blue dial is the current offering from Omega.

Yes for 1200USD is quite a no brainer, it's good deal but you must have box and papers.

Not my first choice for a Speedy no. Good price if you like it tho.
