Hi guys.

Some of you may not know me and some may have come across my gen-rep compro reviews. I am not a fan of Panerai until I rediscover it here at RWI. I especially like the clean and simpIicity of the watch. Bitten hard by the bug, I started off like any newbies learning and asking questions along the way to build the projects for all my fav pams. Anyway, I'm back to share with all of you what I've gained over these years from RWI.

Special thanks to nice people like Takashi, Babola, Hooligan, Daytonaforme and a new long timers here.

Below are some pics of my pam collection

Wanna guess what mods have been done for each of my collection?

I am also very happy to know a few good friends here (you know who you are).

Thank you RWI

Taiji, it's great to hear from you again. For those who don't know, Taiji posted some of the best reviews we've ever had on RWI. In fact, a lot of his reviews are still stickied, I think.

Hope you've got some new reviews coming up soon, Taiji. It's always a pleasure to read them.

Fantastic collection, Taiji. Truly a connoiseur's lot, those. If that 188 is an old case and 7753, PM me if you *EVER* want to sell it.

The biggest lesson I've learned from RWI is that I would rather have a few highly accurate/modified reps than tons of "out of the box" reps. I always seem to wear my favorite few, regardless.

I have the pleasure of meeting taiji on several occassions and discussed with great details about watches. He is really into perfecting his Panerai reps. Most of the modded PAMs are one of a kind where rarely someone will mod a rep to such extreme.

A pleasant gentleman who can be considered as a Panerai connoisseur and a good friend of course.

Bingo !!!

The 188 comes with old school case and ETA7753.
- Ziggy's lume
- Finepics DW
- Thick old cassback with both "Luminor" and "daylight" engraved as per gen "G" series
- Single sided ARed crystal
- T48's crown
- Gen CG

This one is still a keeper at the moment.

My taste change and as you say, I am leaning towards highly modified reps now. Enjoy the process and the end result when it is completed.

I was salivating over that 7753 powered 188 as well. Beautiful watch!
