Here's the deal....I've finally found a gen 023A from a highly reputable dealer. There is no question that it is genuine. However, there is no box or papers. There are also a couple of minor flaws that Panerai can fix for around $500.
I'm thinking that the box and papers ARE a big deal when it comes to the value of the watch. Ergo, my resale possibilities will be limited due to this issue.
So, what is the value of the box and papers. For example, if we are looking at a $5000 watch, does the lack of box and papers whack 10% off the value.......or more......or less?
Thanks for your thoughts!
